Horse Riding
Portugal has a long and strong equestrian tradition, especially in our bucolic Alentejo landscape. Horseback riding along the Alentejo coast, passing through extensive rice fields and ending at the sea, is both romantic and adventurous, so this memorable experience is suitable for everyone.

Embarking on a non-routine activity or doing it for the first time can whet your appetite and, when you add a more physical activity like a kayak trip, even more so! In this combo, we offer the best of three worlds – enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country accompanied by the majesty and serenity of a horse, feel the energy and discover the biodiversity of the Sado River on a kayak trip and top off the day with a small Alentejo gastronomic showcase. in a picnic version, or for the more conventional, lunch in a carefully chosen restaurant.

Surf Lessons
Spending hours between diving and sunbathing it is not for everyone. For those who prefer another type of sport, surfing it is a nice opportunity to reinforce the relationship with the sea, adding physical activity and fun to your day. From surf baptisms to lessons for aspiring world champions, there’s room for everyone.

Private Surf Lessons
Having a private lesson doesn’t mean that we are selfish or more reserved – we can only dream of being pro surfers and in a private lesson we have the opportunity to have the instructor’s full attention. In this modality, you will have the exclusive instructor and adapt the class to your surfing level. Includes material, insurance – duration of approximately 1:30 hours.
E-bikes
We already realize that the distances here are not desirable to set foot on the path, and we live to be sustainable at Independente Comporta, so we couldn’t help but offer the coolest and greenest way for our guests to get around. You can go exploring alone with them or follow one of our suggested tours with or without a guide through idyllic landscapes.
